ACCESS TO NUTRITION INITIATIVE: NUTRITION FOR GROWTH SUMMIT 2021 ACTIVITIES

ATNI draws on the power of the private sector to address the global nutrition crisis. Every action they take is intended to encourage businesses to do more to achieve good health through improved diets and nutrition. Their engagement with companies and other stakeholders, their research and their partnerships are all focused on driving positive change.

Nutrition for Growth (N4G) is a global pledging moment to drive greater action toward ending malnutrition and helping ensure everyone, everywhere can reach their full potential. During 2021, ATNI organised different activities to discuss on the importance of accountability and the role of SMEs in promoting the access to nutrition of the population in lower and middle income countries.

The first events showed the importance roles of SMEs in promoting the access to nutritious food in Africa and Bangladesh. The second and third event were framed in the context of the N4G 2021. On the second one, they discussed about the potential of accountability as a way to engage stakeholders on this topic and the third one was focused on discussing the outcomes of the summit.
