EIT Climate-KIC is a Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC), working to accelerate the transition to a zero-carbon economy. It is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. They focus on identify and support innovation that helps society mitigate and adapt to climate change since they believe that a decarbonised, sustainable economy is not only necessary to prevent catastrophic climate change, but presents a wealth of opportunities for business and society.

During one day, donors and members of the EIT got together to discuss new trends in the European policy and how this is going to make an impact on achieving the goals of the organization.
