Green European Foundation: Evergreen: Restoring Europe’s Forests

The Green European Foundation (GEF)
is a European level political foundation funded by the European Parliament. It is linked to, but independent of, other European Green actors such as the European Green Party and the Green Group in the European Parliament.

The conference was the launch of the “Green European Foundation’s Deforestation Project”, featuring stakeholders from all over Europe with a focus on Romania. They looked at solutions for saving our European forests, with breakout rooms and group discussions to tackle the issue together. The goal was to use the collective knowledge and problem solving to face down the challenges.
